anorak Studio Residency // Brick by Brick Collective x One Dish

Drawing on the long tradition of anarchist zines and mutual aid publishing, they will develop a print archive distilling the core wisdom from their year-long political education series, The Unity of Our Struggle, The Diversity of Our Tactics (2024–2025). Curated by Brick by Brick Collective, the series connected an intergenerational and transregional lens on people’s mass struggles, engaging audiences of over 600 people. The panels took place at various venues in Berlin and brought together twelve guests from over ten geographies, focusing on building power, understanding historical legacies, refining tactics, and meeting the global political moment.

Through the residency, they will consolidate 7 hours of audio recording, dozens of illustrations, and audience feedback into a printed zine that translates these political conversations into an accessible, internationalist archive.

Brick by Brick Collective are anti-imperialist grassroots organisers that work to build capacity for frontline movements in Berlin and Europe. One Dish is a press project focused on self-publishing and zine-making as tools of connection and collaboration, archiving and invention. Together, they have worked at the intersections of political education, cultural intervention, and visual archives since late 2024.
